Here finds us doing what we do best of all - sleeves rolled up & hands-on meeting people who matter to us a great deal, our donors.
Open tailgate immediately attracts crowds
This is a shot of us distributing donations to people who also mean a great deal to us. We know we are making a positive difference in someone's life.
Cooperation
It has taken a while but now we enjoy the cooperation of most companies. We are 'making someone's day' it's a great feeling for us too.
Who do we help?
- Industrial workers from every country, regardless of race or religion
- Domestic workers who have taken shelter in their Embassy because of abuse by their employers (this includes physical assault, mental abuse, overwork and malnourishment)
- Workers brought here without work visas by agents who swindled them and abandoned them.
- Families facing hard times
Anyone who is in need!
Our Wish List...
Thank you to all for overwhealming response!!!
Helping Hands UAE
Roger & Elle would like to WELCOME you to our site, and give you a brief about what we do and why we continue to reach out to the most underprivileged, disrespected, ignored and neglected people in this society.
Some labourers earn as little as 1.90AED per hour (400AED per month)
Some work 7 days a week, 14 hours per day
Some were unpaid for up to 5 months
Exhaustion and malnutrition are common as is dehydration
We are first and foremost humanitarians, and Helpinghandsuae is a secular charitable project which has evolved from a very cold October night in 2006 when we were invited to visit a group of Philipino men in a camp. Continued here...
HelpingHands wishes you the very best during the Holy Month of Ramadan

Volunteer Appeal
We need Hindi speaking volunteers who are active and have flexible time on their hands. You would need to have a car and be able to drive it and would be prepared to take some of the gentlemen we are helping go to their Embassy to enable them to get their out-pass, it might be the Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan. The men may need to go to Immigration and they all need to go to CID for their eye scan and fingerprinting to be done. Finally, we also like to take the men to the airport for their homeward bound journey. This area of volunteering may interest a group of friends.
